Last Monday, Beauty Bus delivered a Pop-Up Salon a Last Monday, Beauty Bus delivered a Pop-Up Salon at the Cancer Support Community in Sierra Madre in honor of National Cancer Survivors Month - a day full of pampering, smiles, and joy ✨💚

We spoke with our client, Mila, who shared how Beauty Bus helped her find a safe space within the cancer community, making a difference for those experiencing tough times through the cycle treatments and major life changes.

“It’s fun to have a little spa day” says Mila. 💆‍♀️

Along with the changes involved with having cancer, Mila mentioned the struggles of learning how to style hair when hair growing back changes and highlighted how the Beauty
Bus beauty professionals help clients to find new styles and find their confidence again. 💪

During the 3-hour event, our volunteers and Beauty Professionals delivered:
✂️ 37 haircuts and hairstyles
🤝 27 hand massages
💆 23 mini-facials
💄 8 makeup services

Thank you to @huntingtonhospital (Huntington Cancer Center, an affiliate of Cedars-Sinai Cancer) for generously supporting this event and the cancer community in the Greater San Gabriel Valley, and to the staff at @cancersupportsgv for hosting us in their beautiful space and supporting our mission.

Another huge thanks to @wegotthisorg for their supporting the event with a fun Lego activity station for our clients to enjoy and be creative! 🧩

Beauty Bus added a little extra sparkle to the festivities with face sparkle and glitter tattoos, helping attendees shine even brighter while celebrating life and survivorship. ✨ Thank you to @concernfoundation for generously supporting this Pop-Up Salon and our work in the cancer community.

We’re honored to stand beside those facing cancer—creating moments of confidence, comfort, care, and human connection through our programs across Los Angeles and Orange County.

A huge shoutout to our volunteers from the @samohi_cleanbeautyclub who joined us for the second year in a row, ready to serve 💪💚

💖 Paint the Park Pink with our local community 💖 💖 Paint the Park Pink with our local community 💖

Beauty Bus was honored to be invited as the charity partner for the @westlalittleleague’s first-ever Paint the Park Pink event and fundraiser in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.

From pink bases at the ballfields to all the fun moments shared throughout the day, it was incredible seeing the community come together in support of those facing breast cancer in our neighborhoods. ⚾✨

Our Pop-Up Salon — generously supported by Driven to Care — brought glitter tattoos, face sparkle, and pink hair clips to add even more fun and color to the celebration 🥳

Huge thank-you to Julie and Jeff Hirschberg for supporting the Beauty Bus mission in the local community, and to Shilpa Vuthoori for making this partnership possible and continuing to champion our work (see you at Poker 2026 ♠️♥️♣️♦️)

And shoutout to our amazing volunteers from the Santa Monica High School Clean Beauty Club @samohi_cleanbeautyclub for bringing the sparkle, smiles, and energy all day long 💫
