A bustling day of care at UCLA Mattel Children’s H A bustling day of care at UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital 💚

Our Pop-Up Salon last Tuesday, generously supported by Driven to Care, delivered 90 free, professional salon services to 59 pediatric patients + family members ✨💫💚

From fresh haircuts and styles, to soothing mini-facials and hand massages - our Beauty Professionals and volunteers were busy, busy, busy!

During the event our team delivered:
✂️ 41 haircuts/styles/barber services
💆 30 mini-facials
🤝 29 hand massages

And to make the day even better, we had an OG Beauty Bus volunteer join us after 14 years - ready to give back again with her expertise. Deidra (@deidra_chattams) volunteered through our original Home Visits program, Pop-Up Salons, and even supported our office team. Even as she’s now styling icons like @ladygaga, Deidra’s passion for service has brought her back to volunteer her magic with the communities we serve 💚🫶

We’re grateful for volunteers like Deidra who show up for patients and caregivers when it matters most. Find out how you can volunteer your expertise through the link in our bio! 🔗
